Q: Where is the studio located?

A: My fully equipped studio is located in the north end  of Okotoks. Please call for address.


Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A:  I require 6 hours of notice to cancel a scheduled appointment otherwise that appointment will be forfeited.  


Q: What should I bring with me?

A: Wear comfortable, non restrictive workout clothing that you can move freely in and a pair of clean, indoor shoes.  I recommend bringing water and a towel (for the sweat!) and ensuring that you've had a snack at least 1/2 hour prior to our session. 


Q: How do I book a session?

A: Please call me at 403-651-1088 or email contact@juliehodge.ca to inquire about pricing, purchase session(s) or  schedule appointments.  I accept EFT to contact@juliehodge.ca (GST will be charged) along with PayPal, MC and VISA.


Q: What are your policies regarding refunds, cancellations, carry-overs and such?

A:  Use of this site assumes that you agree and acknowledge Julie Hodge Fitness policies. All purchases are final. Refunds are not provided for individual sessions, packages and/or any memberships. If you are unable to use a session(s) or a package(s) or any membership(s) they may be transferred to somebody else upon approval from Julie Hodge Fitness. Expired sessions and/or packages and/or memberships may not be carried over or refunded or transferred. Julie Hodge Fitness requires 6 hours cancellation notice, if 6 hours cancellation notice is not provided your session will be forfeited. Children are not permitted in the fitness studio area and must stay in the children's play area for the duration of all personal training sessions.  


Q: How do I get started?

A: Should you choose to work with me for either personal training, partner training, having a personal exercise program created or virtual (online) training, there are client intake forms to be completed and either a Get Active Questionnaire or PAR MED X for Pregnancy questionnaire. You can access these forms at the bottom of the Rates & Forms page HERE.


Q: How will I feel after a session?

A: Ideally you will feel that you worked but also feel energized and motivated. Depending on your fitness level, how often you currently workout, how you eat/sleep etc. you may feel muscle soreness 24-48 hours after a workout.


Q: What does the workout involve?

A: Each workout is different and will be personalized based upon your current fitness ability and skill, your movement and any restrictive patterns/imbalances and include multi-joint and functional movements to ensure your time (and money) are spent as best possible. Workouts could be strength and lifting based, body weight focused, incorporate HIIT or interval training, balance, core and more.


Q:  If I buy a package how long is it good for?

A:  Personal training one on one and partner personal training packages have a 6 month expiry.  


Q: I do not live in Okotoks or close enough for face to face training, do you help clients virtually (online)?

A: Depending on your needs I may be able to provide online virtual support via phone call, email. Please call me to discuss this as an option for you.


Q: What are your hours?

A:  Currently, I am accepting new clients for the following days/times:


Mondays:  2-4 pm

Tuesdays:  1-3 pm

Wednesdays: 2-4 pm

Thursdays: 1-4 pm

Fridays: 2-4 pm

Saturdays:  9 am-3 pm (1 Saturday each month)
